Jefferson, Phoenix, Arizona, with the following members present Steve Chucri, Chairman, District 2; Clint Hickman, Vice Chairman, District 4; Denny Barney, District 1; Andy Kunasek, District 3; Steve Gallardo, District 5. Also present: Fran McCarroll, Clerk of the Board; Tom Manos, County Manager and Michelle Wood, Legal Counsel. Minutes compiled by Lori Medaris, Minutes Coordinator. Votes of the Members will be recorded as follows: aye-nay-absent- abstain. 1. EXECUTIVE SESSION Vote to convene in Executive Session to consider items on the Executive Agenda dated April 20, 2015, for Board of Supervisors and relevant Special Districts pursuant to statutory authority listed for each item. Motion to approve by Supervisor Hickman, seconded by Supervisor Barney Ayes: Chucri, Barney, Kunasek, Hickman, Gallardo OPEN SESSION MELENDRES VICTIMS RESTITUTION FUND In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendments to the FY 2015 budget: a. Decrease the expenditure appropriation for the Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) MCSO Judgment Order Non Recurring Non Project budget (MEL1) in the amount of $350,000. b. Increase the expenditure appropriation for the Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) MCSO Judgment Order Non Recurring Non Project budget (MEL1) in the amount of $350,000 for a new Victims Restitution Fund line item. This reduction to the Sheriff’s Office budget will fund a Victims Restitution Fund for claims associated with the Melendres case. Informal Meeting Minutes Monday, April 20, 2015 Page 2 of 2 If the $350,000 is determined to be insufficient, an additional action item will need to be presented to the Board of Supervisors to approve additional funding.
