VOLUNTARY INSURANCE PROGRAM
Short-Term Disability Plan
Proposed changes to the Short-Term Disability Plan are as follows:
 Disallow donations of Vacation Leave (to be used for Sick Leave purposes) once the
recipient is on Short-Term Disability
 Clarify the exclusion for coverage for disability that is the result of war or act of war
to allow payment of disability benefits if the disability is the result of war or act of
war, unless an employee is already receiving other income including disability
benefits through the military
Health Care and Limited Scope Flexible Spending Accounts
Proposed change to the Health Care and Limited Scope Flexible Spending Accounts is as follows:
 Increase the annual dollar limit from $2,500 to $2,550 on employee contributions to
the Health Care and Limited Scope Flexible Spending Accounts
