SUBJECT: Treasurer's Collections and Investment Summary for August 2014
Total secured property tax collections during the month of August equaled $29,164,928.
Of that, $4,649,333 was for the 2013 tax year which increased the year to date collections
as of August 22, 2014 (the close of the 2013 tax year) to $3,968,707,239 or 98.9% of the
adjusted 2013 levy of $4,011,979,155. The chart below reflects the 2013 collected and
uncollected levy amount and corresponding percentages for the 2013 tax year.

On August 23, 2014 the 2014 property taxes posted. Secured property tax collections
during the month of August for 2014 property taxes equaled $24,515,595 or 0.61% of the
2014 adjusted levy of $4,243,506,812. The secured property tax collections for the month
of August, includes the State Aid amount of $16,607,789.

The County's General Fund Balance totaled $53,325,164 effective August 31, 2014.
Warrants outstanding of $10,219,736 will post against the fund balances when presented.
The $19,121,895 unencumbered balance of the County Municipal Line of Credit and the
$15,878,105 Workers Compensation Liability Letter of Credit remain unused.
