Notice is hereby given that the biennial election of Woolsey Flood Protection District of
Maricopa County, Arizona ("the District") will be held at the following time and location:
Date: Wednesday, October 02, 2013
Time: 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Location of the one Polling Place: Desert Sweet Shrimp Tourist Center,
45075 South Old U.S. Highway 80, Gila Bend, Arizona.
Election of Director. For term expiring in October, 2017 (two persons to be elected):
Ronald Deon Layton and Gary Wood have been nominated by the Board of Directors of the
Woolsey Flood Protection District; however, write-in candidates are permissible.
Persons qualified to vote at this election or to hold the office of director must own real property within the
boundaries of this District and must be qualified to vote as required under the general election laws of the
State of Arizona, pursuant to Sections 48-2609 of the Arizona Revised Statutes.
Appointment of Board of Election. The Board of Directors of the District has hereby appointed the
following Board of Election for this election:

Inspector: Craig Collins
The Secretary of the Board of Directors of the District has caused this notice to be posted in three
public places in each election precinct and posted a similar notice in the office of the Board, in accordance with
