EXERCISE YARD COOLING PROJECT
PROPOSAL
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
• Client: MASH MCSO ANIMAL SAFE HAVEN.
• Location: 102 W. Madison, Phoenix, Arizona, 85003.
• Work Product: Provide area evaporative cooling to the 1500 square
foot animal exercise yard on the outside roof area at the Location (see

APPLICATION:
Locate one (1) industrial portable fan cooler at the Location as follows:
• AEROCOOL Master Blaster Model MB24, 6500 cfm (see specification
sheet attached).
• Install a 115 volt, 20 amp breaker, and run a power circuit from the
sub-panel in the hallway below the yard to the roof and mount a
duplex receptacle near the cooler location. The cooler has an 18.5 foot
power cord. (c I t lict-)
• Install a 1/4 inch copper water line from the water source located
approximately 5' feet from the cooler location to the cooler float valve
fitting; or use an optional garden house from the hose bib to cooler

float connection.
• Install a 1" copper drain line from the cooler pump bleed off
connection through the existing drain pipe in the south block wall
of the exercise wall and on to the existing roof drain located
approximately 10' from the wall.
SUPPORTING INFORMATION:
• Goettl Good Guys Air Conditioning will provide all labor,
equipment, and materials for setting up the portable cooler as a
community service and in support of the Sheriff's mission for the
MASH MCSO ANIMAL SAFE HAVEN.
• The AREOCOOL Master Blaster is manufactured in Phoenix,
Arizona.
• The client will be responsible for removing a 40" by 55" section of
the security wire cover above the block wall on the north side of
the exercise yard to enable the cooler to be lifted over the wall,
through the security fence, and into the exercise yard.
• The product is not a mister system and there is no entrainment of
water into the air stream to land on animals or property.
• The unit (wheel mounted) can be fairly easily moved.
• The industrial fan cooler provides a more dispersed pattern of air
over the area than a traditional blower wheel cooler application
which tends to focus a narrow path of air.
• The Master Blaster has the capability of adjusting the level of
sensible cooling based on the environmental conditions with the
options of water pump on or off, and two fan speed choices.
• The work to set up the industrial fan cooler in the exercise yard
will require one day to complete from the time the electrical
circuit is run to the location, and the section of the security fence
is removed for access by the client.
