THIS Amendment No. 1 is entered into by and between the City of Chandler, and the
COUNTY OF MARICOPA, hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY" to be administered by
the Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County through its contract administrator, the
Human Services Department (MCHSD), on behalf of the COUNTY. This AMENDMENT
is to be fully incorporated and made a part of this Grant Agreement.
Whereas, the CHDO and the COUNTY hereby agree to amend the Grant Agreement
with an effective date of July 1, 2013, page 1, contract termination date to read:
June 30, 2017
Page 77, SECTION IV, REIMBURSEMENT: to read:
The AGENCY shall provide financial assistance in an amount up to Four
Hundred Sixty One Thousand Forty One Dollars and Nineteen Cents ($461,041),
subject to the terms of this Agreement and the availability of funds. This reimbursement
amount constitutes the COUNTY’s entire participation and obligation in the performance
and completion of all work to be performed under this Agreement.
The City of Chandler agrees to encumber 100% of the contract amount by June 30,
2017. All funds shall be drawn from the Maricopa County letter of credit by June 30,
2017.
This Amendment may be executed in three or more counterparts each of which shall be
deemed an original but all of which together shall constitute one and the same
instruments.
