RENEWAL No. 2 OF LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR USE OF REAL PROPERTY
GILBERT CONTRACT #2011-5001-0222
WHEREAS, the Town of Gilbert, an Arizona municipal corporation, “LICENSOR” and
Maricopa County, a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, “LICENSEE”, collectively the
“Parties”, entered into a License Agreement for Use of Real Property dated September 11, 2011
and renewed on July 25, 2012 and September 9, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Licensor and Licensee now mutually agree to renew the Contract for a term
specified below and add a termination clause.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties agree as follows:
1. The License for Use of Real Property at Municipal Building II and Southeast
Regional Library for parking of County vehicles and parking County employee personal vehicles
is hereby extended for five (5) years, to commence September 15, 2014 and expire September
14, 2019.
2. By mutual consent in writing the Parties may extend the Agreement.
3. Either Party may terminate the Agreement, for any reason or for no reason
whatsoever, upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to the other Party. This Agreement is
subject to termination pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-511.
4. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement and subsequent renewals remain
the same and in full force and effect.
