AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
ST. MARY’S FOOD BANK ALLIANCE, LESSOR
AND
MARICOPA COUNTY, LESSEE
RECITALS
A. Lessor and Lessee are parties to that certain Lease Agreement No. L-7403 and approved
by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on December 19, 2007 and amended on
January 27, 2010 and September 15, 2010. The lease is for 6,400 square feet of office
and clinic space at 3003 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85009.
B. The term of the lease expired on October 30, 2013, Lessee is in holdover.
C. Lessor and Lessee now mutually desire to amend the lease to extend the term one (1) year
retroactively.
AGREEMENT
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and other valuable
considerations, Lessee and Lessor agree to amend Lease No. L-7403 as follows:
1. The term of the lease is hereby extended beginning October 31, 2013, and expiring
October 31, 2014. The agreement is subject to termination pursuant to the provisions of
A.R.S. 38-511.
2. Lessee agrees to pay as rent, in equal monthly installments, the sum as
follows:
Lease Term Rate Monthly
Months 1-12 $11.25 /sf $6,000.00 plus rental tax
3. The effective date of this amendment is the date of execution by the Maricopa County
Board of Supervisors.
4. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this amendment. All other
terms and conditions of the original agreement and amendments thereto remain the same
and in full force and effect.
