SUBJECT: DMP2013005 – Vista Verde Development Master Plan

Due to submittal of a Preliminary Plat for Vista Verde Parcels 2.1 & 2.2, which
identifies Tract G as a Fire Station, staff notified the applicant that a revised DMP
narrative and exhibit would be required to identify the land use category as
‘Public Facility’. Previously on December 12, 2013 the Planning and Zoning
Commission recommended approval of the Development Master Plan
Amendment subject to conditions including a revised land use plan and
narrative.
The documents need to be updated with the corrected land use designation.
Staff recommends (and the applicant concurs) the Board of Supervisors revise
the Commission’s recommendation of condition ‘a’ of DMP2013005 with the
following added language (as underscored):
a. Development shall comply with the Development Master Plan document
entitled, “Development Master Plan Amendment Vista Verde
DMP2013005”, a document, dated revised October 25, 2013, and
stamped received November 22, 2013, including all exhibits, maps, and
appendices, except as modified by the following conditions. Within 30
days of Board of Supervisors approval of DMP2013005, the applicant shall
provide two (2) revised DMP land use exhibits and two (2) revised
narrative reports which include discussion of the proposed Rio Verde Fire
Station and identifies Parcel 2.1 - Tract G as ‘Public Facility’ on the DMP
land use exhibit.
