Jefferson, 10th Floor, Phoenix, AZ 85003, with the following members present: Denny Barney, District 1; Steve Chucri, District 2; Clint Hickman, District 4; Mary Rose Wilcox, District 5; Andrew Kunasek, Chairman, District 3. Also present: Fran McCarroll, Clerk of the Board; Tom Manos, County Manager; and David Benton, Legal Counsel. AMENDMENT TO THE "MARICOPA COUNTY 2013 TAX LEVY" PACKET Approve the amendment to the “Maricopa County 2013 Tax Levy” Packet approved by the Board of Supervisors, by resolution, on August 21, 2013, under C-06-14-047-7-00. This amendment will correct the secondary tax levy and tax rates for the Circle G Ocotillo IWDD No. 47. The Circle G Ocotillo IWDD No. 47 mistakenly calculated total revenues into the total tax assessment request. This error in calculation caused a change in the amount needed to be raised by taxation. Schedule E, Page 7 of the tax levy packet will be amended as follows: Maricopa County Special District Tax Levies Secondary Roll, Fiscal Year 2013-14 2013 SECONDARY 2013 PROPERTY 2013 DISTRICT SECONDARY DISTRICT TAX LEVY ACREAGE NUMBER TAX RATE Circle G Ocotillo IWDD No. 47 Approved Tax Levy and Rate $43,183 99.4 16647 434.44 Corrected Tax Levy and Rate $6,900 99.4 16647 69.42 Informal Meeting Minutes Monday, September 23, 2013 Page 2 of 2 In addition, direct the County Treasurer to make corresponding changes and send out corrected tax bills. The Circle G Ocotillo IWDD No. 47 will reimburse Maricopa County an estimated $250.00 for sending revised tax notices. (C-06-14-091-M-00) Supervisor Barney stated he was originally the developer for Circle G Ocotillo IWDD No. 47. He is no longer involved in the Water District and David Benton said he had no conflict with this agenda item. The Clerk explained the error that was made by the Irrigation Water Delivery District (IWDD) that necessitated the correction. Motion to approve by Supervisor Chucri, seconded by Supervisor Wilcox Ayes: Kunasek, Barney, Chucri, Hickman, Wilcox 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION Vote to convene in Executive Session to consider items on the Executive Agenda dated September 23, 2013, for Board of Supervisors and relevant Special Districts pursuant to statutory authority listed for each item.
