Amend Maricopa County Procurement Code
Amend Articles 1, 3, 10 and 12 of the Maricopa County Procurement Code as shown in the document on
file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.
Information:
The Office of Procurement Services requests Board of Supervisor approval to amend Articles 1, 3, 10 and
12, of the Maricopa County Procurement Code. The proposed changes update definitions and
references, clarify language, and incorporate other statutory changes approved in HB 2599. The
proposed changes to the Procurement Code were made in compliance with the Procurement Code
Amendment Process which requires that interested persons and stakeholders be noticed of the County’s
intent to modify the Procurement Code, invite them to submit comments and other input, and
incorporation of changes where appropriate. In this specific instance, no comments or objections were
received. The Maricopa County Procurement Code was last updated in September 2012.
