t is a family owned business that is true to its customers and to its purpose. We have been members at Arizona Olympian since
)arly 2004 when we moved to Chandler. It has been an amazing experience and very integral in the physical development of our

.yle Guthrie is a very honest individual who treats his members and his employees with respect and integrity. It is unfortunate
hat there appears to have been zoning miscommunications over the years. At this point in time, the preservation of Arizona
)Iympian as a viable business in our community is paramount. Any disruption in a business like this can have devastating
mpacts to the bottom line however it is understood that certain protocols need to be followed to come to a workable resolution.
3lease take in to consideration the impact not only to the Gutheries but also to the community, especially those members and
)mployees of Arizona Olympian.
Ehat land next to the water desalination area is not ideal for housing to begin with. Chandler is blessed to have an operation like
\rizona Olympian operating in the area.

am writing in support of the special access permit for Arizona Olympian. I am a member of the Brooks Ranch community and think that the
Vizona Olympian is a great neighbor to our community. They provide a place for our youth to pursue their dreams and improve their social

sincerely hope that they will be granted the necessary zoning clearance to allow them to stay in their current location.
Mso, I noticed on plan net that our neighborhood (brooks ranch) was highlighted as a potential zoning case. Is this correct?

Hi Patty.
I am a big supporter of AZ Olympian Gym. I think its a fantastic establishment and both of my
kids have done Gymnastics at the facility. I am all for the building staying there and support them
100%. I'm sure you will find the same response from many of us in Brooks Ranch. Most of us
mothers use the facility and support it. Its been a wonderful place to take our kids.
To say this is an area for Single Family homes and to think that any homes will go up in this
economy is crazy. There is a housing development that started on the north west side of Ocotillo
and Gilbert and only a few houses sit there b/c they can't sell - I'm under the impression that they
went out of business. To have a development like that go out of business and drive by it
everyday is terrible to look at. Pd much rather have a thriving business across the street from me
that I use and am proud of.

Dear Ms. Zariocr,
I am a resident of the Brooks Ranch subdivision and want to express my views to you on this matter.
I do not object to the use request for a permanent facility for the Arizona Olympian Gymnastics. It poses no problem
to me and I don't wish to put someone out of business. He is there and has been there for some time, why interrupt his
business?
However, I would not want further commercial development to the south of this facility. I would like that land to stay
zoned residential.
