To whom it may concern. | Kathleen A Funk am applying for a class A Bingo license in the
state of Arizona. | am a part-time resident of Sunrise RV Resort. A Class A license was
previously issued to the Resort however since the Resort is a for- profit company, it cannot
hold a Bingo license. A Bingo licensee must be a nonprofit or a person. Class A licensees
obtain a license for recreational and social purposes, returning all gross receipts to the
players in prizes along with paying for equipment maintenance and Bingo supplies.
The intent is to continue conducting Bingo games at Sunrise Resort, as done in the past.
Games will be played on Monday evenings at 6:00pm.
Under AZ TITLE 5 Amusement and Sports Section, Chapter 4, Section 5-401 - 5-415,
defines the rules and regulations of Games of Bingo.
5-401. Definitions
In this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:

from gross receipts.
2. “Applicant” means a person, a group of persons or an organization that submits an application to
the licensing authority for a license required under this chapter.
5-413. License classification; requirements
A. A class A license may be issued to a person for the conduct of bingo games for which the gross
receipts do not exceed $75,000 per year. A class A license shall not be issued to a person who holds a
license issued pursuant to title 4 except a club license issued pursuant to section 4-205. For a class A
license:
1. Any person may apply as prescribed in this article.
