Per the Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS), as amended, Title 26-305.01: 
A. The division is designated the lead agency and has the overall and primary responsibility for
development of a state plan for off-site response to an emergency caused by an accident at a
commercial nuclear generating station.
B. The director shall develop the plan by appointing a coordinator and response group and working
in consultation with designated representatives from the following:
1. Arizona Department of Agriculture
2. Department of Health Services
3. Department of Public Safety
4. Department of Transportation
5. Arizona Commerce Authority
6. Arizona corporation commission
7. Department of Environmental Quality
8. Any other agencies or offices deemed necessary by the division of emergency
management
This plan is published in support of the State of Arizona Emergency Response and Recovery Plan 
(SERRP). It is in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes, Title 26, Chapter 2 and Maricopa 
County Emergency Resolution of 2011.
