A RESOLUTION OF THE MARICOPA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ALTERING ROAD FILE NO. 
A046 PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 28-6701 BY ADOPTING FOARD FILE NO. A046-R.
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. § 28-6701(A), the County is authorized to establish, alter, or abandon 
a highway in the County; and
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of July 2000, the Board adopted a Resolution, designated Road File 
Number A046, recorded in instrument No. 2000-0599776, declaring Boise Street, from Merrill Road to the 
East line of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 1 Noth, Range 7 East, 
of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona, a public highway in the County 
Highway system; and
WHEREAS, said road was dedicated to the public via plat of Sun Down Addition in Book 76 Page 
28 along with an Easement for Highway Purposes recorded in Docket 3627 Page 34 and a Quit Claim Deed 
recorded in Docket 1862 Page 38, all on file with the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. § 28-6701(B), the County Engineer has determined that a portion of 
Boise Street as originally designated in Road File No. A046 is not needed for a public road and has 
recommended the Board to alter Boise St by adopting Road File No. A046-R; and
WHEREAS, the revised legal description is described to wit:
ROAD FILE NO. A046-R
Boise Street lying 25 feet on either side of the following described centerline:
Beginning at the intersection of 219th Place and 2nd Place as depicted in Sun Down Addition 
recorded in Book 76 Page 28 on file with the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office;
THENCE easterly along the centerline of said 2nd Place to a point that is 693.29 feet East 
of the Southwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter in Section 23, 
T1N, R7E, Maricopa County, Arizona and said point being the POINT OF TERMINATION.
General Vicinity: University Dr and Signal Butte Rd, lying within Supervisorial District 2, in 
an unincorporated area.
WHEREAS, the day and hour set by the Board for a public hearing on the County Engineer’s 
recommendation has arrived, and notice of the hearing has been given to the public by advertising once a 
week for two consecutive weeks in the Arizona Gazette pursuant to A.R.S. § 28-6702(A)(3); and
WHEREAS, no objections to altering the action taken by the Board on the 26th day of July 2000 
have been filed; and
WHEREAS, the Board believes that said action is in the best interests of Maricopa County, and that 
a portion of said highway is no longer a public necessity and should be removed from the County highway 
system; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the described street alignment is hereby altered, as 
more fully set forth herein above and, that the original Road File No, A046 is hereby superseded by Road 
File No. A046-R.
