RESOLUTION NO. R2026.05
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 
CITY OF TEMPE, ARIZONA, APPROVING AND 
AUTHORIZING THE FIRE MEDICAL RESCUE 
CHIEF OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT THE 100 
CLUB OF ARIZONA’S SAFETY ENHANCEMENT 
STIPEND AWARD.
WHEREAS, the application the City of Tempe (“Tempe”) submitted to the 100 
Club of Arizona for the Safety Enhancement Stipend has been awarded for the purchase of 
one (1) Fotokite Rooftop Package. (Project).
WHEREAS, this Project has been allocated $24,633 from the 100 Club of 
Arizona’s Safety Enhancement Stipend Awards for the fourth quarter of 2025;
WHEREAS, the City of Tempe, at the recommendation of the Fire Medical Rescue 
Department, will accept the awarded funding;
WHEREAS, the Project is for the benefit of the TFMRD to utilize during 
emergency incidents for the safety of public safety personnel and the citizens of Tempe; 
and
WHEREAS, the Project is compatible with the laws of the United States of 
America, Arizona and the City of Tempe. 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 
CITY OF TEMPE, ARIZONA, HEREBY:
1.
Grants’ approval of the request to accept stipend award funding from the 
100 Club of Arizona in the amount of $24,633.
2.
Gives authority to the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Chief or his designee, to 
act as agent of the City of Tempe to conduct all negotiations, execute and 
submit all documents, including but not limited to applications, agreements, 
amendments, billing statements, and any other necessary or desirable 
instruments in connection with such funding.
