ACTION: Request a Use Permit Standard to reduce the side yard building setback from eight (8) feet 
to seven (7) feet for a detached accessory building in the R1-6 zoning district for SOSA RESIDENCE, 
located at 1028 South Lebanon Lane. The applicant is Jorge Sosa. (PL240262)
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact on City funds.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve, subject to conditions.
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  SOSA RESIDENCE (PL240262) is a proposal to reduce the side 
yard building setback for a 14-foot tall accessory building from the required eight (8) feet to seven (7) 
feet. The accessory building was built in approximately 2011 without a permit and is currently being used 
for personal storage. The request includes the following:
ZUP250062 Use Permit Standard to reduce the required side yard setback from 8’ to 7’.
