Agenda Item 4 – Annual Report 
Shelly Seyler presented the 2025 Transportation Commission Annual Report including the 2026 Transportation 
Commission goals.  
 
Discussion included the 2025 Commission accomplishments.  
 
A motion was made to approve the 2025 annual report.

Agenda Item 5 – Downtown Parking 
Anthony Strait with DTA made a presentation about downtown Tempe parking. Topics included:

Discussion included van accessible ADA parking, perception of lack of downtown parking, Tempe TRiP, revenue

Agenda Item 6 – Walker House Relocation 
Shelly Seyler explained the process for moving the Walker House. Topics included:

Agenda Item 7 – Communications and Outreach Update 
Shauna Warner and Mary Kate Nacke updated the Commission on the latest communication and outreach efforts.

Discussion included youth transit pass program, new resident outreach and equitable outreach.  
 
Agenda Item 8 – Department & Regional Transportation Updates 
Eric Iwersen announced that public meetings for proposed speed limit changes are occurring December 9 at noon 
and 6 p.m., and public comment closes on December 14. He also informed the Commission that the Sustainability 
Commission requested that the City reaffirm its commitment to climate change efforts through a Council 
Proclamation.
