OVERVIEW:  
The Historic Preservation Commission will hold a joint meeting with Tempe City Council at 5 p.m. on 
March 30, 2026, at the Tempe History Museum. The main agenda item will be a discussion of the 
pending Downtown Tempe Historic Core Plan. Because the joint meeting will last approximately hour, 
there is only room for one other agenda item. At its February 11, 2026, meeting, the HPC will discuss 
other possible agenda items. Any agenda items for the joint meeting must ultimately be approved by the 
Tempe Mayor.
