for VENTURA DRIVE 2ND STORY, located at 1727 South Ventura Drive. The applicant is Tundra 
Homes, LLC. (PL250400)

RECOMMENDATION: Approve, subject to conditions
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  VENTURA DRIVE 2ND STORY (PL250400) is a proposed 615 
square-foot second story addition to an existing single-family home. The addition was built without City 
approval by the previous owner, and the current owner is attempting to rectify the situation. The project 
also includes modifications to an existing carport to comply with the minimum required building setback 
and to an existing wall in the front yard setback to comply with the maximum permitted wall height. The 
request includes the following:
