RESOLUTION R20-10-20 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
REPLACING 
TITLE 
IX; 
GENERAL 
REGULATIONS, CHAPTER 93: ABANDONED PROPERTY, IN ITS ENTIRETY 
 
 
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance O07-12-11 on December 13, 2007 amending 
the Abandoned Property Code of the City of El Mirage, and  
 
WHEREAS, the City wishes to clarify disposition procedures of abandoned and other unclaimed 
property; and 
 
WHEREAS, the City wishes to establish procedures to insure proper release of abandoned and 
other unclaimed property; and  
 
WHEREAS, the City wishes to utilize current electronic technology for public notification; 
 
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained, by the Mayor and Council of the City of El Mirage, 
Arizona, as follows: 
 
Section 1. 
That El Mirage City Code Title IX General Regulations, Chapter 93 Abandoned  
 
 
Property, is repealed in its entirety. 
 
Section 2.  
That El Mirage City Code Title IX General Regulations, Chapter 93 Abandoned  
 
 
Property, is newly adopted and made a part of this Resolution as set forth in the  
 
 
attached Exhibit A.
