ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Alexis Hermosillo; Vice Mayor Roy Delgado; Councilmember Monica Dorcey;
Councilmember Anita Norton; Councilmember Kallimayor Richards; Councilmember David
Shapera; Councilmember Donna Winston

CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order at 11:45 AM
Council members were present in person and meeting was held virtually for the public

WORK SESSION PRESENTATION
 
1.
Council Work Session to update City's Strategic Plan and to set future goals and priorities.
City Manager Crystal Dyches presented and explained the purpose and processes in preparing a
strategic plan.  She discussed accomplishments from the previous strategic plan and conducted a
SWOT (Strengths/ Weaknesses/ Opportunities/ Threats-Trends) analysis exercise with all
Council members and management staff present. She explained the City's previously established
Mission Statement, Vision Statement, and Guiding Values and asked Council if they desired any
changes; Council concurred that all three were still applicable and no changes were needed at
this time.  Council members then broke into separate groups and brainstormed new strategies,
narrowing the list down to what they considered to be the most important.  CM Dyches said she
would take the information provided and create a draft strategic plan for Councils' review.
