Certainly, I do not think we should be contribution one cent to this plan, however there is more. We are disrupted by the RR way too often, when the RR cars are going by and we have waits that cause us time that many of us do not have. As it is now, when I need to get to my Dr. I leave my home at least 30 minutes before my appointment to travel 3-4 miles to be on time. That's crazy. The traffic becomes backed up on Granit Valley and Meeker. at times, when the RR has nothing to do with it. Bringing BNSF into the picture, in my opinion, takes away the safety we feel in this community. It will bring in vagrants, the homeless, and more than likely Illegals. We have worked all our lives to have this safety and freedom in this beautiful community. All of this will be threatened. I'm not against growth, it's what makes America great, but not this, not here. It's truly scaring many of us. The growth in the Valley going south esp. is unreal. We are not golfers, however most of the people in this Community are. The harm that can come from this craziness can hurt the freedom of those golfers. So many of the Senior here walk in the early morning and evening, will they be safe any longer? You mentioned chemicals will be coming off these cars. Do we want this? Do we want what happed to East Palestine, OH here? Will community mailboxes be installed because we can't trust that our mail won’t be stolen? Will our mail be delivered into our personal mailboxes any longer? How many of our residents will be able to walk to a centralized box? It's not here yet, but you know that will be coming if this takes place here. There's so much more, but I just wanted to highlight that it's not only $500M at steak, is our lives, it's the way we live, what we have earned. Everything will be threatened. I’m sure the Governor of CA would welcome the BNSF RR Co to his state. Afterall he will be able to put the homeless and Illegals to work. As far as buildings for storage. Only God knows how much property has been abandoned in CA. He certainly can rent them out to the RR Co and make enough money to fund another garbage program of his. BNSF is getting out of California to save money. This project is a huge impact to our area roads, railroad crossings and regional water supply. Building roads and infrastructure will drain our limited water resources. BNSF is fleeing California because of their tax structure. Ocean Containers arriving from China and over seas offload at Ports of Los Angles and Long Beach, those containers will be loaded onto trains and sent to the proposed new BNSF facility for sorting and repacking to ship again. A port is being mayorly expanded in Mexico Guaymas-San Carlos on the east side of the sea of Cortez south Hermosillo this new port will also feed the proposed BNSF project and by- pass California Ports, eliminating commerce entry via the US ports in California. The northwest valley Surprise, Sun City, Morristown, Whitman, Wickenburg doesn't have a robust highway system like most of the Phoenix Valley. In the best interest of the northwest Maricopa county there needs to be more planning and expendature by BNSF to upgrade road ways adjacent to the railroad along Grand Ave from I-10 northwest to Wickenburg area.. Look at Bell Road and Grand Avenue, Hwy 303 and Grand Avenue both are extremely poor designs that don't allow traffic to flow as it should. Increase in crime- passenger and non passenger railway depots will increase crime or facilitate and increase in criminal activities.
