I am writing today to express my OPPOSITION to the BNSF proposals to rezone
property (Z2024072) and amend the White Tanks Grand Avenue Comprehensive Plan
(CPA2024006).
As a concerned citizen, I urge you to oppose the proposed BNSF Intermodal Hub,
Logistics Park and Logistics Center (LPP) and any other BNSF proposals of this nature
presented in the future. This LPP will have an impact on traffic, air quality,
environment, plants/animals, lighting, water, safety and health of thousands of residents
in close proximity to the site, and the surrounding communities and towns. Beyond the
scale of the project, trucks using Maricopa County roads will be passing by a Church,
Medical Center, Nadaburg School, Wittmann, and residents near the proposed site.
