Dear Chief Marzocca:
The Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) collaboration with our state and local partners is
essential to our efforts against major drug trafficking organizations. I invite you to continue your
panicipation in DEA'S Task Force Program and include for your review, the Fiscal Year (l'Y) 2022
Task Force Agreement(s).
According to our rccords, youl ofl'ice currently participates in the DEA's Phoenix Task Force with a
total commitment of one full-time investigator. As outlined in the Agreement, each position is now
eligible for overtime reimbursement of up to "25% of a CS- 12, Step l, of the general pay scale for
the Rest ofthe United States," equivalent to a dollar amount of$19,370 00, per position, for the
fiscal year.
To ensure a seamless tansition as we begin a new fiscal year, a signature and retum ofthe enclosed
FY 2022 DEA Task Force Agteements and att^ched Cerlifications Regading Lobbyitlg;
Departrne Suspension and Other Responsibilily Mallers; and Drug-Free Workphce Requiremenls
is required by September 30, 2021. lfyour oftice anticipates a delay, please notify my office's new
Task Force Program point ofcontact, Program Support Specialist Erica Curry, at (571) 362-0476 or
via email at: lrica.C.Currvla)dea.qov. (Note: Please update your agency's records as DEA's email
addresses have changed, and the Phoenix Field Division has relocated to a new facility )
