development. Wittmann is a small rural community with a papu' ation of just 606 residents.
in stark contrast, BNSF plans to bring in approximately 76,000 individuals to construct this
facility—an influx that would completely overwhaim the ares and forever change the quiet
rural character that families have cherished for generations.

Beyond the scale of the project, the hub will bring increased dierel truck traffic, air and
noise pollution, excessive lighting, and a host of environmental and safety concerns. These
impacts will not only affect the residents of Wittmann but also neighboring cammunities
such as Morristown, Wickenburg, Surprise, El Mirage, and Sun City West.
