Present: Mayor Alexis Hermosillo; Vice Mayor Jacque Parsons; Councilmember Monica Dorcey;
Councilmember Ryan Eldridge (via phone); Councilmember Scottie Gentry (via phone);
Councilmember Anita Norton; Councilmember Donna Winston (phone/in person)

CALL TO ORDER - meeting called to order at 9:03 a.m.

WORK SESSION PRESENTATION
 
1.
Update on the strategic plan and review and discuss proposed FY2025/26 Capital Improvement
Projects (CIP) and personnel recommendations.  (Administration)
Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Manager Macy Walker gave an outline to Council
of the agenda for the day.  The Strategic Plan overview was presented in a PowerPoint
presentation, and she outlined the departments to be reviewed and discussed. Each department
head spoke to the requests and needs of their respective departments. One new position request
was made by the Parks & Recreation Director. There was an in-depth review of all FY26
Capital Improvement Projects as well as a 5-year forecast for numerous projects for FY26-2030.
