Present: Mayor Alexis Hermosillo; Vice Mayor Jacque Parsons; Councilmember Monica Dorcey;

Anita Norton; Councilmember Donna Winston (phone)

CALL TO ORDER - the meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm.

WORK SESSION PRESENTATION
 
1.
Work session to provide background and overview of the City's revenues.  (Administration)
Budget Manager, Macy Walker gave a presentation on city sources, revenues, grants and
property taxes. She specifically outlined citywide sources of funds, the diverse mix of revenue
sources, franchise fees and property tax. Assistant to the City Manager and Grants Coordinator,
Martina Longeria provided an overview of grants. She outlined what a grant is, key elements of
grant applications and contracts awarded, and the grant process.
