The Public Works Wastewater Treatment Facility, per CIP 62079, is replacing the existing
proprietary equipment. Replacement is like-for-like to ensure the effluent filters can continue to
function with the existing SCADA system and other equipment, therefore must be purchased
through Aqua -Aerobics, Inc. They are the vendor for Arizona and surrounding states. Replacing
all the existing software and equipment in the WRF is cost prohibitive. Per §30.24, no additional
quotes are attached.

The Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc. (AASI) AquaDisk® Cloth Media Filter is of
Aqua-Aerobic proprietary design, fabricated to AASI specifications.
Aqua-Aerobic is the exclusive original equipment manufacturer of the
AquaDisk® Cloth Media Filter(s) at the El Mirage WWTP located in El Mirage,
AZ. As such, all equipment and components are manufactured to AASI
specifications, the exclusive vendor supplier for this equipment; this includes
all types of replacement cloths.
