ORDINANCE O25-06-05
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL
MIRAGE, ARIZONA, AMENDING ORDINANCE O24-09-08 ADOPTING
THE 2025 CALENDAR FOR REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE COMMON
COUNCIL, FIXING THE DATES, TIMES, AND LOCATIONS OF SUCH
MEETINGS
WHEREAS the 2025 Calendar for Regular Meetings of the Common Council was adopted
September 17, 2024, with Ordinance O24-09-08; and
WHEREAS the Arizona League of Cities and Towns Annual Conference coincides with
the scheduled 2025 Council meeting date in August; and
WHEREAS, traditionally, Mayor, Council, and city staff attend the Arizona League of
Cities and Towns Annual Conference, thus creating a potential conflict with the scheduled Council
meeting; and
WHEREAS, to provide adequate notification to the Mayor, Council, city staff, and the
public, the Tuesday, August 19, 2025, regular City Council meeting is rescheduled to Monday,
August 18, 2025.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of El Mirage Mayor and Council
as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given that the regular meeting
of the Common Council of the City of El Mirage for August 2025 shall be changed from
Tuesday, August 19, 2025, to Monday, August 18, 2025, and shall be held at 6:00 p.m., unless
otherwise properly noticed:

Section 2. The regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of El Mirage shall be
held either virtually and/or in person at the El Mirage Council Chambers located at 10000 N. El
Mirage Road in El Mirage Arizona, unless otherwise changed to another location by the Mayor
giving not less than seventy-two hours notification of the change of location to the public by
posting notice of change in the locations where the agenda is posted and providing personal notice
of the change to all other Council members not less than twenty-four hours before the beginning
of the meeting.
