PROPOSED MOTION: I move to approve the purchase from Empire Pump Corporation as presented. BACKGROUND: City of El Mirage Capital Project 62065 provides for the rehabilitation and/or replacement of critical equipment at the City's well sites. This project ensures that the City's well sites remain in operable condition in order to provide water to the City. Public Works has identified the Alto Well for this project for rehabilitation of assets. The scope of work covers the removal of equipment (pumps, piping, electrical components), cleaning and rehabilitation of the well casing, transportation to the selected contractor's facility, rehabilitation or replacement of pump and motor components, transportation back to the well site, and re-installation of the equipment. The total cost for this project is $138,950.65. The recommended vendor for the project is Empire Pump Corporation. Pricing and terms for the project have been secured through cooperative use of the City of Goodyear contract 5492D-A4-20. How does this item benefit the City?
