I.
Call to Order – the meeting was called to order at 5:31 P.M.
II.
Roll Call – Members Present: Alexis Hermosillo, Mayor; Jason Cardoza, Steven Braswell,
William Flor, David Cleveland, Cynthia Marano. Absent: Mircea Ionescu. Others present:
Jennifer Pullin, Local Board Secretary
III.
Consent Agenda – Fire and Police Local Boards
A. Consideration and action approving the minutes of the City of El Mirage PSPRS
Fire and Police Local Board, held February 27, 2024.
Cynthia Marano moved; Steven Braswell seconded; motion carried unanimously.
IV.
Consent Agenda – Police Local Board
A. Consideration and action approving the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System
(PSPRS) new membership applications for Allen Antoniewicz, Oh Sine Pwar, and
Tyron Fletcher. Allen Antoniewicz and Oh Sine Pwar are regularly assigned to
hazardous duty as Police Officers and were found to have pre-existing medical
conditions; therefore no application of disability retirement may be filed based on
their pre-existing conditions. Tyron Fletcher is regularly assigned to hazardous duty
as a Police Officer but does not have pre-existing conditions.
Steven Braswell moved; Jason Cardoza seconded; motion carried unanimously.
V.
Consent Agenda – Fire Local Board
A. Consideration and action ratifying the appointment of David Cleveland, Fire
Department representative to the City of El Mirage Fire Local Board – PSPRS
through February 2028.
B. Consideration and action approving the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System
(PSPRS) new membership application for Daniel Deras, who is regularly assigned
to hazardous duty as a Firefighter and was found to have pre-existing conditions;
therefore no application of disability retirement may be filed based on his pre-
existing conditions.
Alexis Hermosillo moved; William Flohr seconded; motion carried unanimously.
