ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Alexis Hermosillo; Vice Mayor Monica Dorcey; Councilmember Roy Delgado;
Councilmember Anita Norton; Councilmember Mike Hutchinson (via phone); Councilmember
David Shapera; Councilmember Donna Winston

CALL TO ORDER - Meeting was called to order at 9:00 am.

WORK SESSION PRESENTATION
 
1.
All day budget work session to review and discuss proposed FY2022/23 Capital Improvement
Projects (CIP) and personnel changes.  (Finance)
Public Works Director Nick Russo presented information regarding the irrigation well in the
Dysart Ranchettes.  A brief discussion was held regarding the use of potable water, and it was
determined to continue using the potable water until a further study of the well is completed.
Assistant City Engineer Bryce Christo introduced Hans Papke and Megan Duffy with DLR
Group.  They presented information on various City facilities and options for future growth.  Mr.
Christo then introduced Christiane Quintans and Leslie Dornfeld with PLAN*et Communities
who gave a presentation on options for improving parks and recreation facilities throughout the
city.
Fiscal Services Administrator Macy Walker introduced items from Public Works, Fire, Police,
Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Community Development and
Development Services for explanation and discussion.  Discussions were held on each item and
consensus was reached in moving forward with the new CIP projects requested.
