RESOLUTION R22-05-09 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, FINDING AND DECLARING THAT THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DEEM THE GRANTING OF A FRANCHISE TO EPCOR WATER ARIZONA INC BENEFICIAL FOR THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE; AND ORDERING THE SUBMITTAL OF THIS FRANCHISE TO THE VOTERS AT THE 2022 GENERAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 8, 2022. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE as follows: SECTION 1. The Mayor and Council of the City of El Mirage approved a call of election for a ballot measure to be placed on the November 8, 2022 General Election ballot on Resolution R21-11-25, and SECTION 2. The Mayor and Council of the City of El Mirage deem the granting of the proposed franchise agreement to EPCOR Water Arizona Inc. beneficial for the City of El Mirage, and SECTION 3. That the question as to whether a franchise should be granted to EPCOR Water Arizona, Inc. shall be submitted to the voters at the 2022 General Election on November 8, 2022.
