ORDINANCE O22-05-02
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL 
MIRAGE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AMENDING THE CITY OF EL 
MIRAGE ZONING CODE, LAND USE VOLUME 2, REPEALING THE EXISTING 
CITY OF EL MIRAGE CITY CODE TITLE XV, CHAPTER 154, ALSO KNOWN 
AS THE EL MIRAGE ZONING CODE, AND ITS REPLACEMENT WITH NEW 
CHAPTER 154 ALSO KNOWN TO BE THE EL MIRAGE ZONING CODE. THE 
PROPOSAL WOULD DELETE IN ITS ENTIRETY ALL 12 SECTIONS OF THE 
PRESENT EL MIRAGE ZONING CODE; AND IT WOULD BE REPLACED BY 
NEW SECTIONS 1-9. THIS MATTER ALSO APPLIES TO TERRITORY IN A 
HIGH NOISE OR ACCIDENT POTENTIAL ZONE AS DEFINED IN SECTION 28-
8461.
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been properly noticed and necessary hearings have been 
completed; 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of El Mirage, 
Arizona, that:
Section 1.  The certain document titled “City Of El Mirage Zoning Code, Land Use Volume 2, 
Chapter 154” which document was made public record by Resolution R22-05-08 is 
hereby referred to and adopted as fully set out in this Ordinance.  
Section 2.  If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Ordinance in 
any part of this addition adopted here by reference is for any reason held invalid or 
unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision 
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof.  
Section 3.  The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish this adopting ordinance in full.
