ORDINANCE 022-06-04 
 
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE, 
MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AMENDING THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE ZONING 
CODE, CHAPTER 154, SECTION § 154.036 (B) MEMBERSHIP, AND (C) TERM OF 
OFFICE, TO ALLOW THE COUNCIL TO APPOINT ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO 
THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION WHEN NECESSARY AND CHANGE 
THE TERM OF OFFICE FOR PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSIONERS FROM 
TWO YEARS TO FOUR YEARS 
 
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of El Mirage, Arizona, 
that: 
 
Section l.   That the document titled “City Of El Mirage Zoning Code, Chapter 154, Section § 154.036" 
which document was made public record by Resolution R22-06-15 is hereby referred to and 
adopted as fully set out in this Ordinance. 
 
Section 2.     If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this Ordinance in any part of 
this addition adopted here by reference is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by 
the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the 
validity of the remaining portions thereof. 
 
Section 3.    The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish this adopting ordinance in full.
