Activity Description Date Major General Plan Amendment applications accepted All major General Plan amendment applications must be received between these dates to be processed in the 2022 review cycle. February 28, 2022 - April 4, 2022 60-day Interagency Review begins Start of formal 60-day review period by agencies. May 23, 2022 Planning Commission Work Session Study session to provide an overview of the 2022 applications submitted. No action or public comment will be taken at this time. June 14, 2022 City Council Work Session Study session to provide an overview of the 2022 applications submitted. No action or public comment will be taken at this time. July 12, 2022 60-day Interagency Review ends End of formal 60-day review period by agencies. July 21, 2022 Planning Commission (Off-Site) Remote Planning Commission hearing on the major General Plan amendment requests only. No action will be taken. Public comment is encouraged. (Location to be determined). *August 18, 2022 Planning Commission Recommendation Regular Planning Commission public hearing and recommendation on major General Plan amendment requests. September 13, 2022 City Council Work Session Study session to provide an overview of the 2022 applications submitted. No action or public comment will be taken at this time. October 18, 2022 City Council City Council public hearing and action on major General Plan amendment requests.
