RESOLUTION R22-12-27 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
EL MIRAGE, ARIZONA AMENDING THE MEMORANDUM OF 
UNDERSTANDING JULY 1, 2020 – JUNE 30, 2024, BETWEEN THE 
CITY OF EL MIRAGE AND THE EL MIRAGE FIRE FIGHTERS 
ASSOCIATION (EMFFA), CHAPTER OF NORTHWEST VALLEY 
FIRE FIGHTERS LOCAL 4361 
 
 
          WHEREAS, the City of El Mirage would like to amend the Memorandum of 
Understanding between the City of El Mirage and the El Mirage Fire Fighters Association 
(EMFFA); and 
 
             WHEREAS, in 2020 the El Mirage Firefighters Association (EMFFA) and City 
Administration completed a 4-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that was approved by 
the El Mirage City Council;  
    
         NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of 
the City of El Mirage that the Memorandum of Understanding dated July 1, 2020 – June 
30, 2024, between the City of El Mirage and the El Mirage Fire Fighters Association (EMFFA), 
Chapter of Northwest Valley Fire Fighters Local 4361 is amended as follows:  
 
ARTICLE 11:      That the document attached hereto as Exhibit “A” amends section titled                 
                      OVERTIME (paragraph 1). 
 
ARTICLE 13:      That the document attached hereto as Exhibit “A” amends section titled  
                              PAID AND UNPAID LEAVE (paragraphs 8 and 10).
