Completion Date 06/30/2023 Department Development Services Type Capital Improvement Project Number 62336 Description During larger rainfall events, portions of the Dysart Ranchettes experience flooding, specifically in areas around the intersection of Desert Cove Road and 125th Avenue. The City had a drainage analysis performed in this area and provided several alternatives to alleviate some of the flooding including the installation of catch basins, storm drains and/or retention basins. The 2021 National Community Survey found that 68% of El Mirage residents rate its stormwater management services favorably, and 91% of residents feel it is important to focus on utility infrastructure in the next 2 years.
