------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 20, 2024 Assistant Chief Richardson City of El Mirage Fire Department Chief Richardson: The Town of Payson would be very interested in pursuing a donation of your engine. Our current fleet is in a state of recovery. We have recently taken delivery of two pumpers in 2021. We have budget approval this year to order a third, however, the delivery window is 24 to 36 months. Our last in-service truck is a 2008, and our reserve is a 2009. The last reserve engine is 1995. This 1995 has just developed a pump issue that is limiting its capability, and the other two older trucks are constantly out of service. If this is possible it could really help us get on top of our service delivery issues.
