RESOLUTION R24-11-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL
MIRAGE, ARIZONA, AMENDING THE CITY EL MIRAGE, ARIZONA
CODE OF ORDINANCE BOOK XV CHAPTER §154.151 APPLICATION
SUBMITTALS (ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLETENESS REVIEW) OF THE
ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE.
WHEREAS, City Council wishes to update Zoning codes from time to time to more
accurately reflect current conditions and realistic needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of El Mirage would like to amend Section §154.151 of the Zoning
Code for the Development Services Department to notify applicants within thirty days of the
submission date that zoning applications are complete and ready for review; and
WHEREAS, Arizona Revised Statutes §9-802 provides a procedure whereby a
municipality may enact the provisions of a code or public record by reference, without setting forth
such provisions, provided that the adopting ordinance is published in full;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of El
Mirage, Arizona that the City of El Mirage City Code be amended as follows:
Section 1.  That the document attached hereto as Exhibit “A,” amending Section §154.151 of the
Zoning Code for the Development Services Department to notify applicants within
thirty days of the submission date that zoning applications are complete and ready for
review, and under the discretion of City Council, is hereby declared to be a public
record.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the City of El Mirage this 13th
day of November 2024.
