A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF
AN
CONTRACT
AMENDMENT
NO.
1
TO
AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF
PHOENIX (C18-0452) FOR TRANSIT SERVICES IN THE CITY
OF GLENDALE.
WHEREAS, on May 31, 2018, City Council previously approved the entering into of an
Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Phoenix for Grant Pass-Through funding for public transit
services in the City of Glendale, AZ-2018-009-00 and AZ-2018-001-00 (C18-0452);
WHEREAS, on April 8, 2020, City Council previously approved extending the expiration date
of said Intergovernmental Agreement to June 30, 2021 (C18-0452-1); and
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and the City of Phoenix wish to further amend said
Intergovernmental Agreement.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens
thereof that Contract Amendment No. 1 (C18-0452-2) to the Intergovernmental Agreement with the
City of Phoenix for Grant Pass-Through funding for public transit services in the City of Glendale be
entered into, which said agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and
directed to execute, file, and deliver said Contract Amendment No. 1 on behalf of the City of Glendale.
