RESOLUTION NO. R21-19
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
APPROVING
AND
AUTHORIZING
SUBMISSION
OF
THE
SUBSTANTIAL
AMENDMENT 1 TO THE 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19 AND 2019-20
ANNUAL ACTION PLANS TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT IN THE COMBINED
AMOUNT OF $456,381.93.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the federal regulations found at 24 CFR 91, the City of
Glendale is required to submit a Five-Year Consolidated Plan and five (5) Annual Action Plans
to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") for its Community
Development Block Grant ("CDBG"), and Emergency Solutions Grants ("ESG") funding;
WHEREAS, modifications to either the Consolidated Plan or the Annual Action Plans
that exceed thresholds in 24 CFR 91 necessitate the completion and submission of a Substantial
Plan Amendment.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Substantial Amendment 1 to the 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-
20 Annual Action Plans is hereby approved. The Substantial Amendment 1 is on file in the office
of the City Clerk and copies are available for review/inspection at the following locations:

SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee is hereby authorized and directed to
submit the Substantial Amendment 1 to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development and execute any and all necessary documents on behalf of the City of Glendale to
make such submission.
