RESOLUTION NO. R21-23
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND
ACCEPT A PROPERTY USE LICENSE FROM SALT RIVER
PROJECT AGRICULTURAL IMPROVEMENT AND POWER
DISTRICT FOR ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN 83RD
AND 91ST AVENUES, ALONG CAMELBACK ROAD.
WHEREAS, The City requires a Property Use License from Salt River Project Agricultural and
Improvement District to construct roadway improvements;
WHEREAS, Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District review of project
design plans resulted in requirement of the City to make paving, sidewalk, curb and gutter improvements
between 83rd and 91st Avenues along Camelback Road; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the Property Use License would benefit the citizens
of Glendale and be in the public interest.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to execute and
accept a Property Use License from Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District.
Said Property Use License is on file with the City Clerk.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Glendale,
Maricopa County, Arizona, this 13th day of April, 2021.
