RESOLUTION NO. R21-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
LICENSE
AGREEMENT
WITH
MOUNTAIN
STATES
CONTRACTING FOR USE OF HATCHER ROAD RIGHT-OF-
WAY WEST OF 151ST AVENUE FOR TWO RAILROAD
CROSSINGS.
WHEREAS, Mountain States Contracting is constructing two private railroad crossings of
Hatcher Road west of the 151st Avenue alignment to support rail operations at the Woolf Logistics
Center; and
WHEREAS, Mountain States Contracting is requesting a License Agreement with the City in
order to install, operate and maintain the railroad crossings within the City’s right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the License Agreement to use City property would
benefit the citizens of Glendale and be in the public interest.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to execute a License
Agreement with Mountain States Contracting to use City real property. Said License Agreement is on
file with the City Clerk.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Glendale,
Maricopa County, Arizona, this 22nd day of June, 2021.
