RESOLUTION NO. R21-81
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE ARIZONA AUTOMOBILE THEFT AUTHORITY,
AND AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND EXPENDITURE
OF A FY 2021 LAW ENFORCEMENT GRANT IN THE
APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $10,979.99, ON BEHALF OF
THE GLENDALE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement
with the Arizona Automobile Theft Authority and accept the FY 2021 Law Enforcement Grant in the
approximate amount of $10,979.99, on behalf of the Glendale Police Department, for the Auto Theft
Prevention Program. The agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Glendale.
SECTION 2. That the City Council authorizes expenditure of the grant award by the Glendale
Police Department to support costs involved with the Auto Theft Prevention Program.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk is authorized and directed
to execute any and all documents necessary for the acceptance and expenditure of this grant on behalf
of the City of Glendale.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Glendale,
Maricopa County, Arizona, this 24th day of August, 2021.
