–Purpose: To get Council direction on the placement of bulk trash in closed 
alleyways

History
•Workshop June 2016
–Staff suggested moving all services to curbside but was not recommended 
as it would not control illegal dumping in the alleys
–Pilot program approved which included bulk trash to curbside
•Approximately 97% of Glendale households currently 
receive bulk trash collection curbside

–Requires minimum clearance of ten (10) feet be maintained between an 
energized power line of up to 50 kV and a piece of mechanical equipment, 
its load and any attachments such as “tag lines”.
