A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO OF A SUB-RECIPIENT
AGREEMENT (NO. 21-AZDOHS-HSGP-210204-01) WITH THE
ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND EXPENDITURE OF
THE STATE HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM
AWARD IN THE APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $45,557 FOR
THE
GLENDALE
POLICE
EXPLOSIVE
DEVICES
MITIGATION PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes the City Manager
to enter into a Sub-Recipient Agreement (No. 21-AZDOHS-HSGP-210204-01) with the Arizona
Department of Homeland Security and accept the grant program award, in the approximate amount
of $45,557, for the Glendale Police Explosive Devices Mitigation Project. The agreement is now
on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes expenditure of the
grant program award for the Glendale Police Explosive Devices Mitigation Project.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to execute any and all documents necessary to enter into the agreement and for the
acceptance and expenditure of the grant program award on behalf of the City of Glendale.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona, this 12th day of October, 2021.
