RESOLUTION NO. R21-101 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING 
ACCEPTANCE 
AND 
DIRECTING 
THE 
ENTERING INTO OF THE SGIA FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 
GRANTS-IN-AID AWARD OF $11,556 FROM THE ARIZONA 
STATE LIBRARY, ARCHIVES AND PUBLIC RECORDS 
AGENCY 
FOR 
LIBRARY 
SUPPLIES, 
EQUIPMENT, 
PROGRAMMING, OR TRAINING. 
 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale requested grant funding from the Arizona State Library, 
Archives and Public Records to be used for library supplies, equipment, programming, or training; and   
 
WHEREAS, the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records has awarded the City 
$11,556. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens to 
accept and enter into the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records Grant-in-Aid Agreement 
No. SGIA-22-A-17 for library supplies, equipment, programming or training.  
 
SECTION 2.  That the City of Glendale accept and expend the $11,556 award in accordance 
with the program requirements. 
 
SECTION 3.  That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and directed 
to execute and deliver such agreement on behalf of the City of Glendale.
