A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF
AN AGREEMENT TO SHARE COSTS FOR THE FEASIBILITY
STUDY
OF
BARTLETT
DAM
MODIFICATION
ALTERNATIVES
AND
SALT
RIVER
PROJECT
AGRICULTURAL IMPROVEMENT AND POWER DISTRICT
(SRP) IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $400,000.
WHEREAS, the City will share costs associated for the Feasibility Study of Bartlett Dam
Modification Alternatives in an amount not to exceed $400,000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens thereof for
the City of Glendale to enter into the Agreement to share costs for the Feasibility Study of Bartlett Dam
Modification Alternatives with SRP, Roosevelt Water Conservation District, Town of Queen Creek,
Town of Gilbert, Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, EPCOR USA Inc., Central Arizona Water
Conservation District, Buckeye Water Conservation and Drainage District, Apache Junction Water
Utility Community Facilities District, Arizona Water Company and Arizona cities of Avondale,
Buckeye, Chandler, El Mirage, Goodyear, Mesa, Peoria, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Surprise, Tempe. The
City of Glendale’s portion is a not-to-exceed amount of $400,000.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute and deliver any and all documents necessary to effectuate said Agreement on behalf of the
City of Glendale.
